The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul are two of the most popular shows on TV, which leaves many people asking how to watch AMC without cable. Four streaming services will let you do it: Philo, Sling TV, DIRECTV STREAM, and YouTube TV.
We cover the features, cost and highlights of each below, as well as other ways to watch The Walking Dead without cable.

Which Streaming Services Offer AMC?
Live TV streaming services can be fantastic way to save money. The average cable bill is over $200 per month, plus you have a contract.
No-contract platforms save more than half of that cost, and you can leave when you wish.
Here’s some of the best ways to stream AMC without cable.
1. Philo
At $25 per month, Philo is the best way to get AMC without cable. Its low price makes it one of the best alternatives to cable TV.
You can stream on three screens at once, and have a DVR with unlimited recording time.
There is only one subscription tier and you get 60+ channels, including A&E, Animal Planet, Comedy Central, CMT, Discovery Channel, HGTV, and History Channel.
The only downside to Philo is that it doesn’t come with any sports channels, like ESPN or Fox Sports. It also doesn’t include local channels.
However, a simple antenna is all you need to get local channels without cable.
A Mohu Leaf is a powerful over-the-air antenna that will get your locals. We use one in our home and love it.
You can use the code FRUGALRULES10 to receive ten percent off your purchase.

2. Sling TV
Sling TV is another affordable way to watch AMC without cable. It offers content in two packages – Sling Orange and Sling Blue – both for $40 per month.
The network is offered in both packages.
There are a few differences between Sling Orange and Sling Blue. Sling Orange offers 30 channels, including ESPN while Sling Blue offers 42 channels without ESPN.
Channels in the Sling Orange package include: A&E, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, and TBS.
Channels in Sling Blue include: Bravo, CNN, FOX Sports 1, FX, and NFL Network.

3. DIRECTV STREAM
Although it’s a premium service, DIRECTV STREAM (formerly known as AT&T TV) is another option for watching AMC without cable.
Choose the “Entertainment” plan for $79.99 per month. You’ll get 75+ channels including AMC. We’ve tested it a few times and it offers a solid user experience and good content variety.

4. YouTube TV
The last option to stream AMC live is YouTube TV. A subscription costs $72.99 per month and comes with 100+ channels including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN News, and USA Network.
If you want to watch Better Call Saul without cable, you can do it on YouTube TV, which like all the other cord-cutting solutions here comes with no contract and no cancellation fees.

Can I Watch AMC Without a TV Provider?
It is not possible to watch AMC live for free online. While their website lets you watch full videos of shows online, you need a login from a cable provider.
A login from an internet service provider might work, but there’s no guarantee.
The good news is that you can get the network for a lot less per month through any one of the streaming services listed here.
However, if you do have a TV package, AMC+ may be a solution to get all your favorite content. It costs $4.99 per month, after a 7-day free trial, and provides early access to hit shows – with no commercials.
How to Watch The Walking Dead Without Cable
The channel has a history of showing the first episode of The Walking Dead every season online on AMC.com for free without cable TV provider login credentials.
In addition to the streaming services already mentioned, you can buy the latest season online at Amazon for a small cost.
The first ten seasons are available on Netflix.
While there’s no good way to watch The Walking Dead for free, there are plenty of ways to do it without an expensive cable contract.

People often ask if you can watch The Walking Dead for free. While there are episodes available through the website and the official AMC app, you’ll need a TV Everywhere login or credentials from a pay TV subscription to access them.
Another common question we receive is, ‘can you watch AMC on Hulu?’ Surprisingly, the answer is no.
Hulu Live doesn’t stream the network and regular Hulu does not include The Walking Dead in its on-demand library.
There are only a few AMC shows available on Hulu, which you can see below:
- Fear the Walking Dead (Walking Dead spinoff show)
- The Son
- Feed the Beast
- Preacher (Seasons 1 and 2 only)
While Hulu offers a vast library of on demand network and is a great deal at just $7.99 per month, AMC shows are just not a part of it yet.
Can I Watch AMC on Apple TV, Chromecast, Fire TV, or Roku?
The channel is available on all of the major streaming platforms including Roku, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, and Amazon devices.
You can also easily watch AMC without cable online on your computer or mobile device with just an internet connection.
Summary
There are many different ways to watch AMC without cable on the streaming platform of your choice.
