Mindhunter was a Netflix psychological crime thriller that was extremely popular for its first two seasons. Many people wish they had continued the show.
One person said, “It was one of the best programs on TV when it was new. So much was left unresolved, especially the Dennis Raider thread.” Another said, “I’m so upset that there won’t be any more.”
Firefly
Firefly was an American Western space-themed show set 500 years in the future after a universal world war. It abruptly ended with season two.
One commenter said, “Firefly is always supposed to be the number one answer for this question.”
Another said, “Firefly deserved a whole Star Wars type treatment, with tons of spin offs and merchandise.”
Inside Job
Inside Job, an animated science fiction workplace comedy series, was another victim of Netflix stopping production.
One person said, “Inside Job made it two seasons before getting axed on a cliffhanger. I still want to know what happens.” Another said, “Inside Job, was robbed by Netflix.”
Pushing Daisies
Pushing Daises was a much-beloved comedy starring Lee Pace as Ned, a pastry chef who could bring people back to life.
One woman said, “The only answer is 100% Pushing Daisies. It was the absolute best show ever on television, period.” Someone else said, “It was just one of the most unique shows I’d ever seen, and it was so good.”
Santa Clarita Diet
Santa Clarita Diet with Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore made it through three seasons before Netflix shut down production.
One man said, “If I ever need to distract my wife, I just remind her about Netflix canceling Santa Clarita Diet or Inside Job. The boiling rage blinds her to the fact that I got the wrong type of tea again.”
Rome
Rome was Game of Thrones before Game of Thrones came to be. HBO made the decision to cut the one to fund the other.
One person said, “Rome died so the dragons in GoT could fly. Rome helped to prove there was a demand for big budget, high quality television, Rome just didn’t quite have the audience to pull it off.”
Deadwood
Deadwood was an HBO western series that made it three seasons before getting canceled, but HBO did give fans a movie a couple of years later.
A smart television viewer said, “I don`t ever bother to start watching a new shows because they might get cancelled. I watch it after all seasons are realized. I am still upset over HBO`s Deadwood cancellation.”
Limitless
The Limitless series started with a movie, which is unusual, as it’s usually the other way around. The TV series debuted to excellent ratings and ended on a cliffhanger after a brief single season. This was upsetting to fans of the show.
