If you’re looking for a Tradeking promotional code the great thing is that there are several to choose from. As I shared in my full Tradeking review they are a solid brokerage to consider if you’re an active trader, someone who likes Forex investing or someone who particularly likes to pay less for their investing needs.

Before I cover the Tradeking promo codes, I do want to be transparent that I do not have an account with Tradeking. However, I dealt with them extensively in my previous career in the online brokerage industry so I believe that has given me a fairly good feel for how they treat their clients.

With that out of the way, I’m a firm believer that where there is value to be had you should take full advantage of it. If you’re already considering choosing a new online broker then it could be worth taking a look at the available Tradeking promotional codes to see if any of them meet your particular needs. After all, if you’re going tothen it makes sense to take advantage of what they have to offer for new clients.

Short Review of Tradeking

I have done a full review of Tradeking in the past, but I’ll provide a shorter review here to go over some of their main features and benefits.

Great Pricing: The commission at Tradeking is relatively hard to beat. They charge $4.95 for stock trades with an additional $.65 per contract if you trade options. Tradeking is definitely competitive when it comes to the market in fact they’re the same $4.95 I pay at Optionshouse. If you like to invest in mutual funds, they come in at a very competitive $9.95 per trade

Forex Trading: Thanks to Tradeking’s merger with Zecco several years ago, they now offer Forex trading. I am not a Forex trader, though I have heard great things about their platform and it is something I’ve been wanting to try for some time. The nice thing is that if you’re interested in Forex trading, Tradeking offers a free virtual Forex account with $50,000 to give yourself some experience with it.

No Minimum to Open: Tradeking does not have a minimum amount required to open an account. I love to see this, as it gives more opportunity to investors wanting to get started in the market who may not have a massive chunk of money to get started with.

Free Online Support: Tradeking has really set themselves apart by offering free real time forum support on their website. This is somewhat unique to Tradeking and is added to their strong presence on social media so you have multiple options to get in touch with them when you’re in dire need.

Fees: Tradeking, generally speaking, is light on the fees – which is great to see. One thing to keep in mind though is they charge an inactivity fee if you do not have a commissionable trade within a 12 month span and have an account value under $2,500. If your account meets either one of those criteria then there is nothing to worry about. If not, there is a $50 annual inactivity fee.

Tradeking Promotional Codes to Consider

There are several Tradeking promotion codes to consider. I like to have variety, and they offer that. There are currently four active Tradeking promotional codes available so make sure to pick the one that best suits you. You can find the different promotions below which also provide all the necessary terms and conditions, though I’ve given the basic gist of each.

It is also important to remember that each of these Tradeking promotions expire at the end of 2015. With that in mind, you can check out the different Tradeking promo codes below: TradeKing has a special promotion running through December 31, 2015! If you open a new account with at least $3,000 and place three trades you will receive a cash bonus of $200 – which is their biggest promotion ever. Retirement accounts do not qualify and you must place three trades within the first 90 days to qualify!

The best Tradeking promotion currently offers $1,000 in free trade commissions. Just open a Tradeking account with at least $5,000 and fund it within 30 days of account opening. The trades are active for 60 days after funding. This promotion ends on December 31, 2015 and you must enter the code “FREE1000” when opening the account.

It is common for online brokerages to charge fees when you transfer accounts, as it is to rollover old 401(k) plans. If you open an account with Tradeking, they will refund up to $150 in transfer fees.

This promotion is pretty straightforward. If you refer a friend and they open an account with at least $3,000 and execute three separate trades within 90 days of account opening then Tradeking will put $50 into each of your accounts.

If you’re funding your new Tradeking account via wire transfer of at least $5,000 then Tradeking will refund up to $25 in wire transfer fees. This is a common fee charged by banks, so it gets it done for free.

Please keep in mind that when it comes to investing you need to go with what fits your needs and specific situation. Please don’t open an account just to get a promotion, especially if the given brokerage doesn’t meet your needs. That said, if you are considering Tradeking, use one of the above Tradeking promotional codes to get a little value out of bringing your business to them.
