Shout Out Saturday #10
Happy Saturday everyone! Today is the first weekend of spring! One would think with it being spring that warmer temperatures would be awaiting us and that we could get started on working outdoors and get the ball rolling on gardening for the year. Sadly, this does not seem to be the case. As I am writing this on Thursday morning, the weather forecasts are calling for the potential of six to ten inches of snow! You read that right, six to ten inches. This has been a fairly good year for us in terms of snow, but the last month has been absolutely crazy and I want to know where all of this snow was in December and January. At the end of the day I guess I should not complain as I am certain the farmers will take any type of precipitation they can get.
Nothing much is new this week other than being busy and trying to stay on top of things. Our youngest is becoming more and more of a walker everyday which is both fun and a little scary at the same time. Once he becomes fully mobile it’ll mean Mrs. Frugal Rules and I will truly be outnumbered. We also finalized a deal to have our bathroom remodeled starting in two weeks. It’s being done mainly out of necessity as the shower needs to be replaced but are also adding a few different things that should make it a little nicer. The best thing about it is that we’ll be able to pay with our credit card that has awesome travel rewards and it’ll go towards helping fund a vacation we’re planning on taking early next year!
Anyway, thank you to all the blog Carnivals that included me last week and gave me a shout out. I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!
