Giveaway: How to Get Fast Cash at the End of the Month

Fast Cash

I hope you’ve never been in a situation where you’ve needed fast cash at the end of the month. If you have not, then great. But, if you have, then you know the problem that needing fast cash can cause. You might start to become desperate, looking at any way you can make cash in a hurry. Unfortunately, I can say that I have been there. Personally, when I was going through those dark days in which I had major credit card debt I remember times when I did not know where the money I needed was going to come from and did things like sell my plasma in order to make ends meet. Thankfully, those days are well behind me, but they do provide an important insight in what you can do when you need fast cash. If you’re in that situation today, then a $100 cash giveaway (either in PayPal cash or Amazon gift cards) is a great way to get you started to help cover that need.

Living On a Budget Can Solve a Fast Cash Issue

I would be remiss not to mention the importance of a budget. When I was mired in debt and needing cash fast, living on a budget was a foreign concept to me. Looking back, I am so thankful that someone let me in on the power of living on a budget. If making a budget sounds painful to you, it really is not as difficult as it sounds. The simplest way to start a budget is by writing down what you owe this month and what money you have coming in. I’ll refrain from spiraling further down into my love of budgeting nerdery here by referring to some of my previous posts on the topic. The overall point I do want to make is that if needing fast cash is a regular problem for you at month end, then starting to live by a budget is a smart way improve your long-term financial future.

Where Can I Get Money at the End of the Month?

If you’re needing fast cash at the end of the month, there are various methods by which you can solve this problem. For the purpose of this post, I’ll be covering only legal means to get fast cash. Certainly not meant to be an exhaustive list, following are some ways to get fast cash at the end of the month:

  • Sell plasma
  • Sell something on Craigslist
  • Do Odd Jobs
  • Cash in credit card rewards
  • Freelance Work

Like I said, the list was not meant to be exhaustive, but simply meant to get you thinking about what possibilities are out there if you need fast cash.

Is Fast Cash From a Payday Loan Company a Good Idea?

Ok, so I am sure you might’ve been wondering if I’d touch this or not. Let me say this – unless you need money today in order to put food on the table or keep the lights on, then I generally would not encourage a payday loan if you need fast cash. They can charge usurious rates and often can get you into a vicious circle of paying them off with further loans. If you find yourself in this cycle, then I highly encourage you to look at what needs to be cut and how you can start living within your means. I think, in general, that will help you in the long run many times. As an aside, I want to be clear about the sponsor of this giveaway, ActiveHours. They’re pitching their company as a competitor to payday loan companies. They do not charge interest or fees and are free to join. Their business model is shaped around individuals who use their service giving voluntary donations. Now, I am for anyone who wants to compete against payday loan companies. However, I do have some serious questions about the sustainability of their model and how they’ll be able to stay competitive. That said, I do think they could merit a look if you need fast cash. Ultimately, if you find yourself needing money in a hurry, then I would encourage you to find ways to refine your fiscal discipline for the long haul. In the spirit of transparency, this post expresses my honest opinion of this company and the services it offers. I was not compensated for this post.
