It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week! This month just seems like it’s flown by and I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon, before you know it it’ll be Christmas. This has been another busy week in the Frugal Rules household. The week started remembering our dear son Isaac and then getting to celebrate my beautiful wife’s birthday on Wednesday. She and I get to go on an all too infrequent date night tonight as we go out for her birthday. Does anyone have any big plans for Thanksgiving? My family and I will be staying home and enjoying it with some close friends. We’re not big travelers for the Holidays having such a young family, but we’re looking forward to having some family visit over Christmas this year.
I’ve listed some of my favorite blog posts from the week, in no particular order. If you have the time, I highly recommend you read a few of them. Have a great weekend everyone!

Thank you for the mentions John! No Thanksgiving here, people in the capital city celebrate it, like most of the world started to celebrate Halloween, which is a bit weird. But if they are a bit thankful and not all about turkey, why not!
Pauline recently posted..Friday recap, a boat ride and a giveaway!
Not a problem Pauline. I agree, that does sound a bit weird, but there’s nothing wrong with giving thanks
Thanks for the mention John.
We’re going my my in-laws for dinner, and going to watch the Lions game. I hope you enjoy your date night.
With Thanksgiving so close the rest of the year will fly by. I’m glad that we’ll have a day to eat and relax a bit. Have a great weekend.

Have fun on your date night!! We don’t have any major plans for Thanksgiving: my wife will be working and I’ll spend some time at my dad’s and hang out with them for awhile. The weekend will be a little more hectic as we’re traveling up to Sioux City to see my wife’s grandma.

Time flies when you are working hard and having fun! It’s crazy!!! Thanksgiving is in less then a week which means christmas is just around the corner! At one of the sister hospitals to where I work, they give every employee a turkey for Thanksgiving! I think that’s so awesome!
Nurse Frugal recently posted..Fridays
I completely agree. It’s just nutty that Christmas is just around the corner. That’s cool your sister’s employer a turkey for Thanksgiving, I have a good friend who gets the same as well from his.
Time sure is flying! Thanks for your feedback to my post and the mention. Have yourself a wonderful Thanksgiving!
